How LEB in the Free State of Saxony e.V. understands quality
The activity of Ländliche Erwachsenenbildung im Freistaat Sachsen e.V. (LEB in the Free State of Saxony e.V.) is affected by its commitment in the field of advanced training. All activities of LEB undergo close scrutiny by quality assurance at any time. Therefore, LEB decided to implement the QESplus model (QualitätsEntwicklungsSystem Weiterbildung Sachsen/ quality development system advanced training Saxony) which has been developed particularly for educational institutions.
By means of the standards and criteria, which have been developed within the QESplus-model, statements on the level of quality-decisive features and conditions of structures and processes of LEB and its service can be gained. They allow for a utilization of institution-intrinsic agreements unless they do not remain below the defined standards and criteria.
This system is based on the circle of process for development of quality. Implementing it means to constantly reassess ones own activities and to evaluate processes, in order to constantly assure quality with its transformations. We are guided by a process-oriented understanding of quality. Every single station within the QES-model-cycle is subdivided into sub-processes, such as planning, accomplishing, evaluating and concluding.
